About
After graduating from WVU, the Amsterdam of colleges, I went to the Chicago Portfolio School, the bootcamp of portfolio schools.
There, I worked my ass off for a year, then moved back home to Virginia to live with my parents. If that wasn't enough motivation to keep pushing for a creative position, the bunk bed I slept in at the ripe age of 26 was.
Finally, I got the call from a recruiter, while working part time at Radioshack. From that moment on, I knew every choice, side job, and can of tuna fish was worth it.
Now, 15 years have flashed by. And I've been spoiled with opportunities. I learn every day. Love every minute of it. And I don't take anything for granted.
Because I know I could be looking for batteries in the back of a Radioshack – where electronics go to die.
